Silver Spring Camera Club welcomes our February speaker, Arik Gorban, who will present on the topic of Infrared Photography.  Arik’s presentation will provide a detailed introduction to Infrared (IR) photography with a brief demonstration of post processing of IR images.  After sharing a short history and providing important definitions, Arik will discuss the reasons for using infrared for creative photography, talk about gear considerations, camera conversion options, characteristics of infrared images and post processing.  The demonstration of post processing will be done in Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop.  However, similar processes can be done using other tools.
