Committee Chair Reports:
Secretary: Minutes read from previous meeting by Catherine
Treasurer: Bruce reported a big jump in membership and a couple of people paid twice. Bruce will contact them to see what they want to do. We received the income from MPA of $128 dollars and the executive board voted to donate that to the MD Food Bank. Bruce will go online and make that donation.
The audit committee will meet November 16th.

Programming: No updates
Cable Release: Feedback on articles was discussed. Comments can be added to the bottom of the article. Sherm will put that option in the Cable Release to remind readers they can offer their comments.
Nominations and Selection Committee: Look for help with the Frank Gallagher taking over Programs Chair, Secretary, and the Cable Release.
Field Trips: No report.

Competition: No updates.
Membership: Lisa brought up the idea of naming the photo entries in competitions. MPA does not do it.
Dennis will investigate Survey Monkey to send out a membership survey,
Membership will send out a reminder to all who have not renewed.
The picnic was a great success. We had 32 attendees and new members were very engaged.
Photo Forum: We will investigate doing surveys in Zoom.
The theme is sending in multiple pictures that go together. Discussion and presentation topics will be updated in the CR and an email blast.
Pete brought up how is it going. The agenda in the chat was a good idea from Andrew. The content has been good and engaging. There is an imbalance of images presented and may have to limit one per person and if there is time, others can be reviewed.

Vote on a minimum age for membership – High School.
Diana Martin emailed regarding teaching in-person beginners’ classes for free. The board agreed artists should be paid for their work.
There was discussion of giving non-winners a chance to speak about their photos; this will be addressed in the Photo Forum. There was also mention of a People’s Choice Award.
There was a discussion of How to Take a Better Picture as a topic for a breakout room in Photo Forum.
