On May 28, five SSCC members went to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania to photograph water lilies and other attractions. This was opening day for the water lily exhibit. Although there were many different varieties of water lilies and other tropical plants on display, there was not an abundance of them, as their peak would occur in mid- to late-July when they would completely fill in the outdoor ponds. But, there were still many beautiful varieties to photograph. After lunch, the group toured other portions of the expansive gardens (http://longwoodgardens.org/).
