Joshua Taylor

Joshua Taylor is returning to judge our November competition. He brings with him an elite resume of accomplishments and awards.

He has presented photography workshops at the Smithsonian Orchid Show, the US National Arboretum, the US Botanic Garden, Brookside Garden, Longwood Gardens and many more.
In addition to being a Canon camera instructor, he is a frequent speaker at camera and garden clubs, and judges photographic competitions. He also exhibits his photographs in gallery shows.

He is a member of the Garden Writers Association and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. He is a member and past president of the Northern Virginia Photographic Society. He was voted best garden club speaker in 2005. Longwood Gardens selected Joshua as its instructor of the  month in October 2010.

His passion for photography is the inspiration for his images. He hopes his photos will inspire, captivate and teach others to experience his love of photography. According to Joshua, the ordinary becomes the extraordinary through his photographic vision and personal style.
