Montgomery College: Semester-Long Regular Courses

Students aged 60 years and older may be eligible for a tuition waiver! Seniors who wish to take advantage of the tuition waiver must register during the Senior Registration period (the final three days of registration).

Waiver requirements:

  • You will still be responsible for paying required fees.
  • You need to check the Important Dates and Deadlines page for the date the waiver goes into effect.  You will be responsible for full tuition and fees if you register prior to the listed date.
  • Waivers are given on a space-available basis.

Maryland Photography Alliance (MPA)

The Maryland Photography Alliance has announced three (3) new workshops as part of their 2024 MPA Adventures in Light series. MPA members receive a $30 discount off the public price. Tickets are limited so act quickly.

Night Photography on Assateague Island – September 28, 2024 6:00PM – 10:00PM
Learn to photograph sunset on the Bay side of the island and work to the ocean as the light fades. When it’s dark enough, learn how to photograph the Milky Way at some great locations.

Freight Trains and Autumn Leaves – Oct. 19 – Oct. 20 1:00PM – 1:00PM
This 24-hour workshop will feature several excellent locations nestled in the valleys of the Allegheny Front – including the world famous Horseshoe Curve. You will photography modern-day freight trains in the midst of autumn colors, shooting from many different perspectives – from above and below, near and far.

Beyond the Frame Workshop: An Exploration of Creative Photography – Nov, 10 11:30AM – 4:30 PM
