Overview: World’s Greatest Railroad Museum that is not in England. Largest collection of 19th century locomotives in the country. The collection is housed in the original, eye-catching roundhouse built in 1884. Can also ride the Mile One Express, a 20-minute round trip train ride along the first commercial mile of railroad track, laid in 1830.

COVID Rules: The Club is not arranging carpools due to COVID. Attendees to trip must wear masks and sign attached COVID Waiver. MASKS ARE MANDATORY!!!
Directions: Approximately ten minutes from Baltimore’s popular Inner Harbor area and easily accessible from Interstate 95 and the Baltimore Beltway, I-695. Entrance to the Museum grounds is located at the intersection of West Pratt Street and Poppleton Street.
- Take the ramp onto I-495 E (Beltway) toward Baltimore/College Park.
- Take Exit 27 to merge onto I-95 N toward Baltimore. Stay on I-95 N for 22.8 miles.
- Take Exit 53 to I-395 North toward Downtown/Inner Harbor.
- Follow signs to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
- Once on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, make left onto W. Lombard Street.
- Continue for three blocks and make a left turn onto Poppleton Street/Railroad Way and proceed south.
- The Museum’s entrance gate will be at the traffic light intersection of Poppleton Street and Pratt Street.
