The Silver Spring Camera Club is looking for someone to serve as backup “projectionist” for competitions. It’s a fun and essential job for the contests. I am happy to do it but right now I’m the only active club member who knows how to do this. This means that if anything, major or minor, happens to disable me or my computer/internet, there will be no way to run the next contest.

I will train you to do all parts of the job; before, during, and after the competition. When you are comfortable with the skills, I’ll encourage you to run a competition with active support from me. With practice and support, you will become very comfortable doing this job.

You will need to have Lightroom installed on your computer, since that is the platform we use for competitions. I’ll be happy to train more than one person, and each can acquire these skills and contribute in an important way to the club.
