Silver Spring Camera Club welcomes new member Ron Marcus.  Here he responds to our questions about him:

Q: How did you hear out about SSCC?  

I moved to Gaithersburg in July of 2018.  I found SSCC on Meetup.

Q: How did you get started in photography?  

I had a 9th grade photography class and set up a darkroom in high school.

Q: What photographic subjects do you prefer to photograph?   

Primarily landscapes and then interesting people

Q: What has inspired your photography and choice of subjects? 

I enjoyed being creative.  I am a visual person. 

Q: Has it been inspired by interesting places where you have lived or visited?  By an interest in art or art forms in general? 

Yes  to both.

Q: What type of camera are you currently using?  

A Canon 6D

Q: Do you do much post-processing of your photos? With what software?  

I just stared doing post-processing: Adobe Lightroom and Luminar

Q: What are you interested in learning more about?  

I would like to learn more Adobe Photoshop (know nothing about it).
