Welcome back!

I hope everyone enjoyed their summer and is ready to participate in our 2017 – 2018 season. The board and chair positions have been working hard this summer to ensure we have a well-planned and full agenda.

I’d like to introduce our new board members.  Tanya Riseman is our new Vice President, Sue Green and Wendy Kates are our new Membership Co- chairs. Our new PSA representative will be Tonia Benjamin. We have many returning board members and some have moved to new positions.  The returning board members are Bruce Schaefer as Treasurer, Larry Gold as Competition Chair, Andrew Rein as Field Trip Chair, Gene Luttenberg as Open Forum Moderator, Norm Bernache as Historian, Dennis Freeman as Newsletter Editor and Mark Paster as Webmaster.  Returning board members in new positions are Renee Schaefer is the Program Chair, Philp Boyer is Secretary, and I, Catherine Honigsberg as President. Our returning Directors are David Blass and Bob Catlett.  Our new Director is Michael Koren.

As a newer member to this club, I want to thank all those who participate and volunteer to make this a successful group.  As someone who is shy, getting involved in the club activities was and is a great way to meet the members and share the love of photography and make new friends. At this point, we are missing an Education Chair. Please consider helping the club by helping current board members or even joining as a co-chair to start. 

To help everyone get to know each other better, we will have name tags this year for everyone to wear.  We will also have introductions at our meetings so you will get to know the board members better.
