Wayne is an ecologist-naturalist, educator, and photographer by professional education and passion, garnering special respect for his nature photography. His photographic expertise was honed while working for a D.C. area commercial photography firm, the US Navy Photographic Center, involvement in numerous professional seminars and workshops, and working in Yellowstone National Park for 14 years.
Wayne is a member of NANPA (North American Nature Photography Association), the Vienna Photographic Society, and Northern Virginia Photographic Society for which he served as Vice President and President. He just recently moved to Frederick, Maryland and joined the Frederick Camera Clique.
Wayne has been teaching photography classes for 20 years. He has led workshops and seminars, with the most recent to Yellowstone this May for six days. Wayne has delivered numerous and varied photographic programs for many local groups in the Greater Washington area, in the Southern Appalachians, and internationally in the United Kingdom and Australia. Many of his images have appeared in local, national, international magazines, on calendars, postcards, exhibited and sold as fine art prints, and now, most recently, across the globe in the world of stock photography. waynewolfersberger.com
