Essdras Suarez was an intriguing field trip attendee, attracted to us by our Meetup announcement.  He came on our February field trip to the National Gallery of Art, East Building, and was a great addition to our great SSCC group.

When asked, he answered that he was an AP Photographer who has moved here from Boston, and is establishing himself here.  This helps explain the two professional Nikon cameras he was toting.  He handed out several business cards at lunch, and It turns out that he is a two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, and has two businesses.  One of these is EMS Photography (i.e. EssdrasMSuarez Photography), and it’s workshops and international adventures look interesting.  These are listed in our Classes and Workshops column this month. 

His other business helps photographers create stories with their work, and become noticed by new audiences.  It is called Million Eyez.  He provided a brochure that you can read here: Million Eyez brochure.
