Committee Chair Reports:
Treasurer: Bruce Schaefer presented the revised projected budget for the upcoming year. The projected budget is now projecting a $49 surplus. Our rent is now calculated $50 per evening and is projected for $2,000. Bruce requested we cut the 3 weeks in June we do not use and the 4th Thursday each month. The board can meet elsewhere to save money. We had a windfall income of $123.17 from the Maryland Photography Alliance (MPA). We have 64 members that have paid to date, five of which are new and that compares to 69 and 12 from last year at this time.
The George DeBuchanne Community Service Fund has a balance of $593.
Our Bank of America (BOA) account will be closing and we are out of checks. Bruce has paid using the BOA online services for now. Michael sent a recommendation from MPA on setting up a new Federal ID number for our club. We will look into a new bank such as Sandy Spring National Bank.
VOTED: Board unanimously agreed to hold our monthly board meetings at Fuddruckers in Silver Spring.
We have not received the audit committee’s report.
Vice President: Tanya Riseman provided descriptions, contacts and information on a flash drive for the next Vice President.
