Aubrey Gemignani has generously agreed to share her experiences as an event photographer. Her skills and interests also include documentary and reportage. She is a full-time photographer and archivist at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Washington D.C. She has enjoyed covering a range of events at the White House, the Vice President’s residence, Kennedy Space Center, and the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, where she covered the manned launches to the International Space Station.
Her reporting and documentary work has been distributed worldwide through news and photo agencies, such as the Associated Press, Reuters, National Geographic Online and Getty Images. Her work also appears in Esquire, The Washington Post, Popular Photography, and Pastry Art and Design. She has acquired an elite set of clients, such as NASA, Department of Homeland Security, South Asian Americans Leading Together, Hope for a Healthier Humanity and the International Relief and Development.
Her assignments allow her to travel to a number of exotic places, such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Russia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Dubai, and Italy.
Aubrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from George Washington University.
